Quick answers in the frequently asked questions
Orders & Delivery
How quickly will my defibrillator arrive?
We usually deliver within one to two working days of receiving your payment, so you will have your defibrillator quickly.
Do I pay for delivery or returns?
No. You never pay for delivery with Pulse4all, and returns are free too.
What happens if I am not home when my defibrillator is delivered?
A signature is always needed on delivery, so we know it arrived safely.
1. Order before 5 pm with payment received and we often send it the same working day.
2. You can see the delivery day and time in your Track and Trace link.
3. If you are not at home, the courier will try again later or leave a card.
I have placed an order but need to change something. What now?
No problem. Just contact us by email or phone as soon as you can and we will update your order.

Where can I find my invoices?
1. Go to our website.
2. Scroll down and click Login.
3. Enter the email address you used for the order.
4. You will get a six-digit code by email. Use it to log in.
5. Open the order you want.

You can only download invoices that are paid.
How do I manage my subscription?
Your portal shows everything about your subscription, including your payments and how to cancel. To log in, use the email address from your order, enter the six-digit code we send you by email, then go to Your Orders or your Dashboard for a clear overview.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Would you like to cancel? Just contact our support team. They will help you cancel and arrange the return of your defibrillator.
Is there a minimum subscription term?
Yes, the minimum term is three months. After that you can cancel free of charge whenever you no longer need the defibrillator. We would rather earn your trust with good service than tie you to a long contract.
Maintenance and replacement
How quickly will I receive a replacement defibrillator?
As soon as we receive your request we send your replacement straight away, usually the same or next working day, so you are never left without cover. You also get a return label and box to send your previous defibrillator back to us, free of charge.
What maintenance do you take care of?
We take care of all the maintenance for you. To keep your defibrillator ready, we replace the pads and the battery when they are due, as a full exchange: you receive a ready-to-deploy defibrillator and send your previous one back for free. After your defibrillator has been deployed, we replace the whole device, so you quickly have a fully checked one again.
My defibrillator has been deployed in an emergency. What should I do now?
If your defibrillator has been deployed, you did the right thing by stepping in. Let us know through the Request an exchange button, or just contact us. We send a replacement straight away, usually the same or next working day, so you are never without cover. You also get a return label and box to send your previous defibrillator back to us, free of charge.
My defibrillator is beeping. What should I do?
A beep means it needs attention. First take the battery out and put it back in, which triggers a self-test and often resolves it. If it keeps beeping, get in touch and we will check with you whether we can fix it. If we cannot, we replace the whole device, so you quickly have a working defibrillator again.
Costs and payments
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay by credit card, debit card or PayPal, whichever suits you best.
My direct debit has failed. What happens now?
We will contact you by email and phone to let you know there is a problem. Your customer portal shows the status of your payment, and you can update your card details or confirm the payment again, so you can take care of it quickly and carry on without worry.
How often can I pay?
You choose how often you pay: monthly, every three months, every six months, or once a year. With monthly you get 50 percent off your first month, and with yearly you get a 12 percent discount, so you can pick what suits you best.
Your Philips defibrillator
Does the defibrillator need to be plugged in?
No, it does not need to be plugged in. It runs on a battery that can deliver more than 200 shocks.
Is the defibrillator fully or semi-automatic?
Philips defibrillators are semi-automatic. They read the heart rhythm in about eight seconds, and when the device tells you to, you press the flashing button yourself. Fully automatic models deliver the shock on their own, but first they count down, which takes longer. So semi-automatic is faster, and just as safe.
What if I have never done this before?
Your defibrillator guides you calmly through every step. It gives spoken instructions that follow your pace, and a metronome helps you keep the right rhythm during CPR. The HS1 switches on as soon as you pull the handle. So whether or not you have done this before, the device tells you what to do.
Do you offer training?
We do not offer training, but we do have our own demonstration videos that show clearly how a defibrillator works. You can watch them here
How can I be sure the defibrillator will work when I need it?
Your Philips defibrillator runs a full self-test every day. We also replace the pads about every two years and the battery about every four years, so it is always ready. You can check it yourself too:
- Flashing green light: the defibrillator is fully ready
- Red light and a beep: contact us straight away and we will arrange an exchange quickly
Is the defibrillator safe for someone who is pregnant, a child, or has a pacemaker?
Yes. A defibrillator is safe for pregnant women, children and people with a pacemaker. The device reads the heart rhythm itself and only delivers a shock when it is truly needed, so you can act with confidence in an emergency.
Other questions
Am I allowed to register my defibrillator?
Yes, you are, and we really encourage it. If you need any help or have questions, please get in touch.
What is the difference between Pulse4all and leasing?
Pulse4all is a defibrillator subscription. You pay a fixed amount each month and always have a fully serviced defibrillator. As with leasing or renting, the device stays Pulse4all property. The difference is that our subscription also includes full service, maintenance and replacement when needed, and you can cancel after three months, so you stay flexible.
Do I own the defibrillator at the end of my subscription?
No, and that is the point. The defibrillator stays ours, so there is nothing for you to own, maintain or dispose of. The pads and battery wear out over time, so we exchange the whole device for a fresh one in good time, before that happens. You always have a working defibrillator without arranging anything yourself. That is the peace of mind you get.
Can I take my defibrillator with me when I travel?
You can take your Philips defibrillator on holiday, as long as you handle it with care. Please note that we cannot exchange it abroad, because of shipping and delivery times. Travelling by car is no problem. When you fly, keep these points in mind:
- The defibrillator can go in your hand luggage or checked luggage
- If you put it in checked luggage, take the battery out and keep it in your hand luggage
- Bring the invoice and the battery safety document (MSDS), we can give you both
- It is always wise to check with your airline that it is allowed on board
How can I make a complaint?
We do all we can to make sure your defibrillator always works. Even so, you may not always be happy. If you have a complaint about our products or service, please tell us. You can reach us:
- Through the contact form on our website
- By phone
- By email at complaints@pulse4all.com We aim to handle your complaint within 14 days.
You can read our full complaints policy on this page.
